Members of the Women’s Institute gathered in Hemyock Parish Hall. The occasion was the presentation of the clock on the wall behind the ladies to the parish. A village wedding on 1st August 1992 using a slightly unusual vehicle. The reason for this novel form of transportation was that the groom, Nigel Davy, was a fireman. The bride, Caroline Gubb seems perfectly happy with the situation.
