This very rare and interesting shot is of the Station Road end of the wooden goods shed which was taken down c1929 as part of the regeneration of the branch to allow the use of larger engines. The carriage and engine sheds, of similar style, were a little further to the left and these were also removed c1929. The engine shed was then resold to a local farmer and was still largely extant well over eighty years later which must make it one of the greatest survivors nationally, having been built c1873!
