Beautiful photograph! Do you know the date?
This photo states at the bottom of the picture The Forresters Club days were held on the last Wednsday in May at the Rectory and the Kings Arms. They were not held in 1915 or since.
So obviously we have the wrong place. It is not Churchinford but Churchstanton. Phil Hill of the Taunton Gazette has posted a picture of the Kings Arms, Churchstanton. Churchinford has the award winning York Inn, the best pub in Somerset. So the picture was probably from the 19th Century. Has anyone any more information about the Forresters or the Kings Arms.
